been thinking about buddha all day long analysing all of stevie’s songs, guided meditations just don’t work, no they don’t work why pretend that everything’s alright? truth is, you can’t always win the fight i’m used to being so unsatisfied and it doesn’t work. oh my god, is this all part of the game? who the hell is leading? not a religious person but i pray usually helps when panic comes my way trynna be in control but life is pain, i can’t change it this monkey in my head, it just won’t shut it’s only in my mind but it’s a lot guess i gotta live with what i got and embrace it oh my god, is this all part of the game? who the hell is leading?
2.
my mind 03:28
look outside, i can swear the trees are talking won’t you come along? our adventure starts real soon join the ride, now the world is in our pocket we don’t have to walk, we can fly next to the moon none of us can tell when this fantasy calls off now i rather lay here, it's more than just enough i must be out of my mind my thoughts are finally aligned not all things can be defined, but i must be out of my mind look around, colors seem brighter than ever that cacti looks like someone that i used to know guess it means everything is for the better, doesn’t really matter where the wind will blow i must be out of my mind...
3.
new reality 03:46
am i stuck in a maze game? what a mess, what a mayhem they say i’m nuts, i can’t blame 'em all my nights turned to days, and i won’t accept this hysteria words prove nothing, i tell ya i can’t change reality gave up on my vanity i don’t know what day it is but i can’t change reality can’t change reality... let’s assume life’s an ocean, smooth or wild - like emotions, should we face our demotion? or make a commotion? feels like we’re in slow motion i might drink all that potion i can’t change reality...
4.
look on the bright side, it ain't the first time your fantasy collides with real life, right? what can you do? follow the riptide try reading between the lines you’re gonna be fine wait for the green light what can you do? envy makes me cry what’s in it for me? why? should use it as a drive instead i just hate life when it comes to my mind, i’m in a loop, yeah it’s fine wish i could put my ego aside, be wise, what can i do? can i do? been there done that people always yearn then they become stern will it always burn? going back to the same concerns everyone gets their turn does it matter how much i earn? some feel lucky to be born some are like me, never learn been there done that look on the bright side, it ain't the first time your fantasy collides with real life, right? what can you do? can you do?
5.
way to go 03:09
ain’t it fantastic? the more you want the less you get then you feel nasty cause all you do is crave you want it all vastly don’t turn into a slave to instant thrills and spices that ain’t the way to go find your center why won’t you settle down? shit’s gotten intense, all i ever wanted is to be in command but life keeps changing it won’t follow my demands so i might as well accept i might get out of hands, so what’s the way to go? find your center why won’t you settle down?
